Echoes of Compassion
Imagine your compassion echoing from your heart. Feel the resonance and warmth as it spreads throughout your being, and beyond…
Meditation is a practice where an individual focuses their attention and awareness to reach a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. Although shared by many religions, meditation itself is not inherently a religious or even spiritual activity, with many applications for it being found in non-spiritual contexts.
Meditation can significantly reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, It can also enhance peace, calmness, and well-being.
Research is ongoing to better understand the effects of meditation on health (psychological, neurological, and cardiovascular) and other areas of life.
Although great success in meditation tends to follow in-depth practise for extended periods of time, it is also possible to start to get some benefits even with short periods of meditating.
Such as a quick 5 minutes each day.
