About This Meditation

Food

For this meditation you will need to get yourself a small piece of food – a chunk of chocolate or a piece of delicious fruit works really well.

So often when we eat food, our attention is elsewhere as we rush through the almost chore of eating, hurrying to get the food down us so we can get on with something else.

For this meditation, let’s really savour a mouthful, focusing on all the sensations and the senses, truly enjoying our morsel of food.

Mindfulness and Business

These days there is an increasing awareness of the benefits of meditation and other mindfulness practises for all, including for those in business. No longer is meditation seen “for the hippies”, many seasoned business professionals recognise its benefits and actively practise mindfulness.

To help like-minded people connect, I run a fortnightly online Zoom-based networking meeting called “Mindful Networking”. It runs every second Tuesday, noon – 1:30pm, as part of 4Networking. The meetings are fun, friendly, and open to everyone.
