About This Meditation

Inner Child

As adults, we often forget that we carry within us a part of ourselves that never truly grows up: our inner child. This is the part of us that holds onto the memories, emotions, and beliefs that we developed while we were young. While we may not be aware of it, our inner child can play a significant role in how we see ourselves and the world around us. By reconnecting with our inner child through meditation, we can begin to heal past wounds and develop a greater sense of self-love and compassion. We can tap into a source of creativity, joy, and playfulness that we may have lost touch with over time. Not only that, our inner child can hold valuable insights into our present-day patterns of thought and behaviour, allowing us to identify and heal any unresolved wounds from our past.

That’s what we start to do with this meditation, where we begin the process of reconnecting with our inner child, reassuring it, listening to it, and simply Being with it.

Mindfulness and Business

These days there is an increasing awareness of the benefits of meditation and other mindfulness practises for all, including for those in business. No longer is meditation seen “for the hippies”, many seasoned business professionals recognise its benefits and actively practise mindfulness.

To help like-minded people connect, every second Tuesday at noon – 1:30pm I run a fortnightly online networking meeting called Mindful Networking. The meetings are fun, friendly, and open to everyone – see you there!
