About This Episode
Why do good people sometimes do bad things?
And can bad people do good things?
My guest this week has some very interesting views on this topic, including a very powerful personal story which neatly gets to the heart of the matter.
And it all starts with a car journey…
As always, you can listen to this episode via the audio above, or if you prefer to watch us having a chat then there’s the video version of it below.
BONUS CONTENT AND SUPPORTING THIS PODCAST
Sometimes an episode is just not enough to get share everything, and during our discussion we got on to the topic of Forgiveness. Sadly our exploration of forgiveness would have made this episode a little too long, so with Laurie’s kind agreement we’ve extracted that and are offering it up as exclusive Patreon bonus content.
You can find it at my Patreon page. If you are not already a supporter, you’ll be able to sign up there and then and get immediate access too!

Whether that’s via a like / comment / share, by buying me a cup of tea, by becoming a Patreon supporter like Captain Magic Lion, Michael Beeson, Derek Duncan and KT Moran and others (and get yourself access to this episode’s exclusive bonus content at the same time), or even by sponsoring it for a month, your support is most gratefully appreciated!
Every little bit helps, as a British supermarket sort of says!

My Guest

Laurie Sjostrom, lives on a small hill in a windy seaside village. Her family is multicultural. Her children are from Vietnam, she and her husband are from the USA and they all live happily in beautiful Cork Ireland.
She is a communication expert with over 21 years of experience in training top executives from multinational corporations such as Kraft Foods, and loves to discover new ways of seeing the world.
But like everyone listening today, her family was struck by unexpected challenges. In her case, one after the other, each of her 2 children were diagnosed with serious medical conditions.
Finally, in 2021, Laurie left the business world to serve parents of children with serious medical conditions. Her passion today is to help parents reduce the overwhelming emotions that take control of their lives so they can make good decisions for their children with no second guessing.
