It costs us so much, both in terms of money and health. And yet for many it feels really hard to quit smoking without some sort of help.
This was the position Ben found himself in – he’d tried many times to quit, always unsuccessfully – sure, he’d stop for 2 or 3 days, but he would be back smoking again.
Like many, Ben had heard of the success people have turning to hypnosis for quitting smoking, and as Ben and I have known each other for a few years, he confided that it was time to quit properly and could I help him.
So that’s what we did.
He recorded a very enthusiastic video about how he was finding life without smoking over a month later – already 20 times longer than he’d been able to go without cigarettes before.
He was particularly happy to not be using gum or patches or vaping, but rather to have completely quit smoking entirely. Even when he was around others who were smoking (which can be particularly challenging for the newly quit ex-smoker!).
