HIV.
Three letters which used to spell a death sentence, and which even now have so much stigma attached to them.
But what is life like for someone with HIV?
What is it like for someone living with an HIV+ partner?
And what options are available these days?
That’s what we discuss in this episode, with my guest BioHacker extraordinaire, Dan Sadler
About My Guest
Dan Sadler was born and raised in a quiet village near Portsmouth and was brought up by his mum and 2 sisters. Dan became a successful young musician and educator after he was introduced to the Steel Pan instrument at secondary school. After many years performing all over the UK, touring over 50 countries, multiple TV appearances, performing concerts at venues like the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and even performances for numerous times for HRH Queen Elizabeth II, he made the move to London to further develop his music career.
That was how he met John and settled into a new life in London. What he didn’t know at the time was that the journey would lead him to start his own businesses, become a Biohacker and wellness expert, start Public Speaking and also work with the UK largest Business Network. While music is still a strong passion, it’s now something Dan does mostly for the love of music and not relying on it to earn an income.
HIV wasn’t something that Dan had given any consideration to until he had found out that his partner was living with it.
Today he finds himself speaking about HIV more and more and based on his experience living with it he now has the ability to empower others to see that it’s not necessarily a death sentence anymore. Today he is here to speak to us about his journey and dispel some of the myths.
