Publicly Singing in Parliament Square

Ruta, a trained singer, was still terrified of the thought of performing in front of an audience. After 1 hour with Keith, she sang in Parliament Square!

Ruta Kaite has trained as a singer (at some very impressive schools, I should add). Unfortunately, like a great many of us, she found that she was still unable to pursue her dream because of nagging doubts and a lack of self confidence and self-belief.

She wanted to become a professional performer, singing from stage to audiences; however, even the thought of it made her nervous as she kept thinking that she was no good, and was deeply worried by what other people would say – after all, who did she think she was to dare to dream to sing from stage to appreciative audiences?!

Having searched extensively for help to conquer her fears and doubts and feelings of not being good enough, Ruta got in contact with Keith, and after a short telephone chat they agreed to meet up for an initial session in London. In Parliament Square, to be exact (hey, why not?)

Initially, even just the thought of singing something there made Ruta feel really uncomfortable and it was definitely not on the cards.

However, after just a single hour (their first session working together), the work they did lead by Keith had enabled Ruta to feel so much more confident and empowered, and to truly believe in her own talents, that she happily performed an impromptu a cappella rendition of a Beyoncé song right there and then, in Parliament Square, with a plentiful supply of tourists passing by and even watching & listening. What’s more, not only was she confident and comfortable (and a great singer), she even enjoyed performing there.

All after just a single hour together!

“After one hour of the session, I feel much more confident within myself and my signing ability; I’m looking forward to working with Keith to completely get rid of that fear and to stand on stage with a big audience and actually let my voice go”.
