We use strategies every day without realising it.
Whether it’s deciding what to buy, what to eat, when to eat, when to be happy, when to feel sad, when to stop eating… the list is pretty much endless.
It’s part of how our unconscious mind helps us to navigate our everyday life and to do the things we need to do.
We generally learn these strategies from a young age, without realising it.
Sometimes they can help us, sometimes not so much – it’s all part of life (and a good coach can hep us to refine and improve our strategies if we want).
In some cases, our strategies can actually be used against us – we can be subtly manipulated.
In this episode we take a look at what strategies are, how we use them, and some of the ways in which the unscrupulous might seek to use them against us – as well as how we can protect ourselves from that manipulation.
