Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:00:14]:
You’re listening to the Keith Blakemore Noble Radio Show. Interesting chats with interesting people about interesting things and no adverts. Here’s your host, Keith Blakemore Noble. Hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome. Welcome to this special episode of the Keith Blakemore Noble Radio show. The second last episode ever. As we heard in the previous episode, shutting the show down.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:00:46]:
Check out the previous episode, you’ll find out all the reasons why. Stay tuned. There’s something coming up next as well, but for now, this is the second last episode and as it’s the end of the year, we’re doing our traditional top 10. We’re looking at the top 10 most listened episodes, three throughout the year. Now, these are not necessarily episodes from the year, but they’re the episodes which received the Most listens during 2025. Maybe your favourite’s in here. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a new favourite. So let’s dive in and find out.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:01:19]:
The 10th most listened episode was first broadcast on 24 May 2025, and it’s the one with Sylvia Poll. In this episode, I sat down with Silvia, who is the founder of Spanish the Fun Way. Sylvia’s journey began in the uk, it continued through Argentina and eventually brought her back home, gifting her with fluency in both English and Spanish, together with a real passion for connecting cultures. Now, during our conversation, Sylvia shared her story of starting her very first business at the age of just 15, which was selling her mum’s cakes. She also discussed how the pandemic nudged her towards teaching Spanish online in a venture which has blossomed into a fulfilling career. We talked about how learning a language goes far beyond just holidays. It’s about understanding others. It’s about building connections, breaking down the suspicion that can exist between people of different backgrounds.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:02:24]:
Sylvia also revealed some fascinating ways in which learning a second language benefits our brains. And it also reminds us not to let embarrassment or the fear of making mistakes get in the way of trying something new. That was episode the 10th most listened episode, the one with Sylvia Poll coming in at number nine. We go all the way back to 2023, a perennial popular episode, this one from 27th October 2023. It’s the one with Becca Innes. In this episode, Becca shares with us her inspiring journey of fundraising and raising awareness for a cause very close to her heart. Becca emphasises that her fundraising efforts go beyond money. It’s all about aiming to make a real impact and start conversations about mental health.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:03:19]:
With her personal story and determination, Becca has created a community of support encouraging others to share their own experiences. We take a look into Becca’s reasons for starting her fundraising. We look at the incredible work of Come Together for Calm and look at the future plans. That’s the ninth most pop most listened episode this year, the one with Becca Innes coming in at number eight. It’s an episode from 2025. It was first broadcast on 21 June 2025 and it’s the one about 10 years in business. Personally, a very special episode of the show. In this milestone instalment, I’m celebrating the 10th anniversary of my company, Keith Blakemore-Noble Ltd.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:04:08]:
Throughout the episode I take us on a journey through the past decade, reflecting on business growth. I’ve experienced the transformations that have shaped my life and my career. I share some candid stories from my early days as a painfully shy IT professional that was way before I even started the business. And I take a look at how I made the leap into coaching, speaking and authorship. I open up about these pivotal moments, the stroke of luck that nudged me out of corporate my unexpected adventures in Bali, and the challenges of starting and later rebranding multiple businesses that ultimately led to the birth of the Overachievers Club. I also talk about the power of making meaningful connections, adapting to remote work long before it was the norm, and why. Look at why embracing change has been key to my journey. Plus, I give a sneak peek of what’s on the horizon for me and my business.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:05:07]:
That was the eighth most listened episode from 21 June 2025, the one about 10 years in business. Coming in at number seven, we go to 17 May 2025 and it’s the one about positive affirmations. In this solo episode we explore the topic of positive affirmations, taking a look at what they are, how they work, and why they don’t always produce the results that we hope for. Now, we’ve all heard that affirmations can help us to boost our confidence, achieve our goals, attract abundance. We why do they seem to work so well for some people and yet fall flat for others? In this episode, I explain the science behind affirmations. Take a look at how our unconscious mind responds to them and why simply repeating I am successful might not make a difference. I also give some straightforward advice on how to create affirmations which actually work, even if you don’t yet fully believe them. So, have you ever wondered why affirmations can sometimes feel pointless? Or how to make them more effective? This episode has practical insights and tips to help you harness the true Power of Positive Self Talk.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:06:22]:
That’s episode number seven, the seventh most listened episode through 2025, the one about positive affirmations. For the sixth most listened episode, we go all the way back to 12 January 2024, another perennially popular episode. This is the one with Beth Thomas. Now in this episode, I was joined by the insightful Beth Thomas, a certified ADHD coach and an advocate for neuro inclusion. In the episode, Beth shared her personal journey of discovering her own neurodivergent traits, shedding light on the unique experiences and perceptions of individuals with differently wired brains and bodies. Throughout our discussion, Beth emphasised the significance of acknowledging imperfection and the power of experimentation in navigating the challenges of neurodivergence. We took a look into the impact of sensory overload on neurodivergent individuals. We explored the intense reactions and emotional dysregulation that can arise from heightened sensory experiences, and Beth provided valuable insights into managing sensory overload, highlighting the need for diverse coping strategies tailored to individual needs.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:07:42]:
That was the sixth most listened episode from 12th of January 2024, the one with Beth Thomas. That’s us halfway through the top 10 already. How’s it shaping up for you? Any of your favourite episodes in there so far? Let’s move into the top five. Coming in at number five from 7 June 2025, it’s the one with Tracy Turner. In this episode, I sat down with Tracy Turner, the author of Journey to Acceptance, and we had a heartfelt and honest conversation about her family’s journey through her child’s transition. Tracy opened up about the moment her teenage child told her mom, I wish to be seen and recognised as a woman. We take a look at the intense mix of emotions that followed the shock, the anger, the fear, the struggle to come to terms with the unknown. As we talked through the episode, Tracy shared what it was like to navigate those early days of confusion and pain and how she slowly found her way toward acceptance and understanding.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:08:47]:
She explained the importance of listening, the value of seeking support, and the lessons which she learned about self, compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. Tracy also offers practical advice for other parents who might be facing similar experiences and highlights the resources that have helped her along the way. That was the fifth most listened episode from the year. The one with Tracy Turner Number four brings us an episode that was first broadcast on the 1st of November 2025. It’s the one where it all ends. I mentioned this episode right to the very start. After more than six fantastic years and over 170 full episodes. I’m bringing this podcast journey to a meaningful close.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:09:35]:
I did that in this special episode to celebrate the podcast, the One Where It All Ends. I reflect on what led to the decision, shared some behind the scenes story, and revisited the highlights and memorable moments from the years from the show’s history. I talk about how the podcast evolves over time, the changes I’ve seen in the podcasting landscape, and the unique challenges of keeping our conversations genuine and ad free. I also explain why now feels like the right time to wrap things up, even though the show does remain close to my heart. That’s the fourth most listened episode throughout the whole of 2025 from the 1st of November the one where it all ends Reaching the heady heights of the top three now and in at number three. The third most listened episode from the year from the 11th of April 2025. It’s the one with Andy Macdonald. I was thrilled to welcome Andy Macdonald, who’s a captivating personality full of intriguing stories and achievements.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:10:39]:
Born and bred in Murray in Scotland, Andy has worn many hats throughout his life, from being a Scottish high jump record holder and athlete of the to becoming an event owner, event organiser and owner of the McMurray Festival. During our lively conversation, Andy shared the journey of how his passion and competitive spirit led him to transform Elgin’s Cooper park into a buzzing hub of music and entertainment, bringing renowned acts such as the Boomtown Rats and even the mighty Status Quo to his hometown. We take a look at the highs and lows of organising such large scale events and Andy offers a peek into his life’s unexpected turns and his unyielding determination to face challenges head on. That was the third most listened episode of the year, the one with Andy MacDonald at number two. The second most listened episode from the whole of the year is from the 18th of July 2025. It’s the one about procrastination, obviously a popular topic. In this episode we dug into a challenge which we all face. Procrastination is often known as the thief of time.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:11:56]:
If you’ve ever found yourself putting off important tasks by doing just about anything else, you’re definitely not alone. We explore what procrastination really is, why we do it, and the key difference between taking a genuine break, simply avoiding what needs to get done. We unpack some of the most common reasons behind procrastination, such as fear of failure, perfectionism, lack of motivation, feeling overwhelmed and poor time management. But we don’t stop there. I also take a look at some practical steps to help you to identify your own procrastination patterns and triggers. With useful exercises, you’ll discover when and why you tend to put things off so that you can start making real challenges and becoming more productive and that was the second most listened episode of 2025, the one about procrastination. Which brings us now to the number one most listened episode throughout the whole of 2025. And this episode is not from 2025.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:13:02]:
It’s not even from 2024. This episode, the most listened episode throughout this year, was first broadcast on 9 June 2023. It’s called the Hundredth One with Gary Jones. And this one was four years after the very, very first episode of the Keith Blakemore Noble Radio show. And it was the 100th episode. Had some amazing guests and some great solo episodes over the years and I wanted to celebrate the 100th episode. That is quite a milestone and I was delighted to bring on a really good guest, a guest who’d already been on in series two, a guest who’s an expert in podcasting himself, Gary Jones. So he was kind enough to join me in my 100th episode so that we could talk all things podcasting and a whole lot more.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:14:00]:
And oh, did we have a great chat. Of course. We took a look into the world of podcasting and making it successful from starting with just a phone to upgrading to fancy equipment, and Gary shared some tips on how to create consistent and valuable content. We also explored what it takes to create a good podcast, a good story, a strong narrative for your listeners, regardless of what sort of podcast you’re creating. And to better understand this, Gary discussed storytelling techniques used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and he looked at how we can apply those to podcasting. That included looking at criticism of Ant man and the Wasp Quantumania’s disjointed storyline, whilst exploring how individual perspective and consistent themes can help ensure quality and success in a podcast. And to wrap the episode up, Gary and I discussed approaches to podcast creation, editing and marketing. That was the most listened episode of this year.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:15:09]:
It was the hundredth ever episode of the podcast and it was first broadcast on 9 June 2023. So there we have it. That’s the top 10 most listened episodes throughout 2025. Were any of your favourites in there? Perhaps you’ll find a new favourite. Who knows? Please do share. Let me know what you thought. Let me know what you enjoyed. Let me know if there are any surprises in there.

Keith Blakemore-Noble [00:15:39]:
That’s it for this episode. As I mentioned at the start, this is the second last episode ever. Next week I’m going to wrap the whole thing up with a grand top 10, the top 10 most listened episodes ever, where we look back over the whole six and a bit years, the whole hundred and seventy seven episodes, and we see which ones stood the test of time and which were the top 10 most listened episodes throughout the entire history of the show. That’s it for now. Thank you so much for joining me. I hope you enjoyed it. Do let me know, give a like a review, share it far and wide. And whether you’ve been on this journey with me right from the very start, or whether you’re a more recent joiner, thank you so much.
