One of the the really big things that limits brilliant people from realising their potential is lack of speaking confidence.

My guest this episode has for many years lived with stuttering, and is bringing to us the benefit of his experience, knowledge and lessons learned.

Whether you are a stutterer, or whether you have other speaking challenges and fears, Andrew will bring you some very interesting insights into how you can live with, and even overcome, these.

About my guest Andrew Hodge

Andrew started stammering on his first day at school, aged 5. That’s not unusual many children have a phase of stammering which they quickly grow out of, but for 1% of the population it sticks, and as Andrew’s got worse he avoided most speaking situations for the next 33 years. The subsequent 15 years have been much better. The Mcguire Programme gave him some tools which worked better than any speech therapy he had had, and enabled him to embark on a journey of personal development, and to find his voice.

He found, when he joined speakers clubs, he became sought after as a coach for fluent speakers!

After a corporate career mostly as a research scientist and team leader of scientists, Andrew is now doing professionally what he is passionate about – helping people to be the best speakers they can be.  And so now, through Next Level Speaking he is helping people step out of the shadows, and into their own speaking radiance.
