The Problem

Alcohol can be an enjoyable substance for many people, when kept under control.

Unfortunately, sometimes it is all too easy for alcohol to start taking over, which leads to many problems. And it can happen to the best of us.

During lockdown, Kate found she was starting to reach for the odd glass of wine a little more often than previously.

Which started becoming more than a glass and happening more often, to the point where she felt it was at risk of becoming a real problem for weight, for skin, and more.

The Solution

So Kate got in touch, we had a good chat about her situation, about what she wanted to achieve and why. For Kate it was not about giving up alcohol completely – she was able to have the occasional G&T or pint and stop after one easily, it was just wine which was the problem. And she agreed that if she never touched a drop of wine again in her life, that would be perfect.

With her aim set, we had a session which I designed specifically for her (as always, every session is customised for the individual client) and during which we have a lot of fun, all done over Zoom.

Since then, Kate has not touched a drop of wine, and she doesn’t miss it – indeed, she can’t stand the thought of having any wine at all!

She certainly doesn’t miss the hangovers the next day either.

She finds she is enjoying going out more as she knows she is always in full control, she enjoys waking nice and fresh the next morning, her skin looks and feels better, she isn’t eating as many snacks, and so she is able to focus on er health and fitness far more.

All in all a fantastic result for Kate, who has shown alcohol very clearly who is the boss.

In Her Own Words

Hi, my name is Kate, and I’m from Warwickshire, and I contacted Keith because I was, I think probably like a lot of people during lockdown and the COVID pandemic reaching for the wine more often than I really should have been to the point where I felt it was becoming a bit of a problem for me and a barrier to my weight loss and health and fitness.

So I got in touch with Keith and we had an initial chat and he said he thought he could help me.

And we followed up with a session which was brilliant, to be honest.

And following that session my desire to drink any sort of white wine has has gone out of the window, much to the surprise of my friends and family, but it’s been so liberating.

To be honest, it’s really freed me up.

I don’t even think about it.

Wine o’clock has definitely gone from my life, and I’ve now got the opportunity to focus on other things like my fitness, eating healthily, not having the munchies, you know, with that dreadful hangover.

So yes, it’s all been wonderful since working with Keith, and I just want to say huge thank you.

If You Want To Make Change

If there’s something holding you back, something you want to change or get rid of once and for all, maybe we should have a chat?

Who knows, maybe soon others will be inspired by reading your story here!
